Wow! What an amazing turn out for our afternoon! Miss Woodward and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our event. It really did end our topic with the ‘BANG!’ we were hoping for – thank you!
We know that the children in year 3 have been really excited about the event and it was so lovely to see so many of you enjoying time with them as they showcased what they had done over the term.
Another big thank you goes to Charlotte Paddock who joined us from the Dogs Trust in Evesham. Thank you for coming and giving us your time again.
There isn’t really much for me to write here as I think the pictures further down will do more justice to the event than I could. We were very pleased with how everything turned out and we were so grateful to everyone who helped prepare the afternoon for the children to enjoy.
Before the week is over, we will be announcing the winners of our mini competitions as well, so keep your eyes peeled for further posts. Of course, the reason for the event happening in the first place was to raise money fo the Dogs Trust. As yet, I haven’t had time to count all the money collected, so again, keep your eyes open for further posts.
Did you know it costs Ā£28 per day to look after a dog at the Dogs Trust? It is also important to note that there are 40 dogs at the Evesham branch alone, which shows the importance of every penny we raised. I will do my best to get the total to you before the Christmas break.
Please take a look at the many fantastic pictures below. Post a comment or two – it’s nice to know there is an audience out there!
Thank you again š
